Ethiopia Halo Beriti
This coffee originates from southern Yirgacheffe, grown at 2300 masl by approximately 500 families cultivating 74110 and 74112 Heirloom varieties. The cherries are processed at the Halo Beriti washing station, near Gedeb town,
Ethiopian Heirloom varietals (74110, 74112) are native to Ethiopia, the birthplace of coffee. Over centuries, these trees have naturally cross-bred, resulting in diverse sub-varietals with unique flavors.
Hand-picked with care, the cherries are pulped to remove their skins and washed to eliminate mucilage, a process taking 12–48 hours. The beans are then dried on raised beds until reaching 11% moisture, ready for export.
Halo Beriti is a washed Ethiopian coffee with vibrant fruit flavors, juicy sweetness, and floral notes.
